To Get Involved

To the Editor:

Last Friday, my daughter’s vehicle was struck at what I consider an extremely dangerous intersection: the flagpole. Fortunately, a witness was able to get the license plate number of the vehicle which fled the scene after colliding with my daughter’s car.

Although we did not get the name of the witness, my husband and I would like to thank him for his quick actions in recording the license plate number. We would also like to thank Mrs Kretz who, noticing our daughter was alone, felt it necessary to stay with her until we arrived.

While it is disturbing to learn that an adult, Newtown neighbor could act so irresponsibly, at least we can take comfort knowing there are also Newtown neighbors who are willing to get involved! Thank you again to those that helped!
