On August 14, Victoria Teixeira and her mother, Isabella, on the right, had their hair cut by Toni Ribeiro of Klickers to donate to Locks of Love. Mrs Teixeira had donated her hair a year ago. Victoria decided this summer that she would like to donate her hair also. Since Mrs Teixeiraâs hair wasnât quite long enough, they opted to wait until the end of summer. It was perfect timing for Victoria getting a new look for back-to-school and both ladies could donate.
Emma Delia, age 7, approached her parents last week and told them that she thought her back-to-school haircut should be for Locks of Love. Emma told her parents that her hair would grow back and that she would be able to donate again! The Head Oâ Meadow second grader had 13 inches cut from her hair on August 22 at Salon Michelle by Trisha Talarino.
