Adopt A Cat Or Dog From The Animal Center

The following cats and dogs are among those available for adoption through the Animal Center:

PERSEUS has been through some pretty tough times, but he’s still purring. Several weeks ago, friends of The Animal Center spotted an orange cat who resembled a missing cat from the neighborhood. The cat was in distress and wary, but they were able to get him into a carrier and to the vet, where they discovered just how badly injured he was. His ear had been torn off from an animal attack and because he was living outside in the unbearably cold weather, and frostbite had set in. When residents realized that Perseus was not the missing cat from the neighborhood, they asked if Animal Center officials would take him in. Perseus got the veterinary care he needed and is feeling so much better now. He adores being petted and is glad to be warm and safe. Perseus is approximately 3 years old, neutered, current on vaccines, and healthy.

LANA is a 5 month old, friendly Lab/shepherd mix for adoption. Spayed and current on vaccines.

PUMA is a super friendly, 3-month-old shepherd mix puppy for adoption. Neutered and current on vaccines.

Good news: Pudge, Matlock, Rowdy, Tamber, Jango, Reebok, and Oscar Mayer have been adopted.

The Animal Center is an all volunteer, non-profit animal  welfare charity. Programs include: A foster-based, no-kill rescue and adoption program for homeless and injured cats and kittens; Feral Cat Assistance Program that provides spay/neuter and vaccination assistance to caregivers of free-roaming, unowned cats in the community; and a dog rescue program that saves adoptable dogs scheduled for euthanasia. The Animal Center is a 501 (c)3 publicly-supported charity and relies heavily on the support of the public and generous volunteers.
