Chris Parker

Parker, a former swimmer at Newtown High, will be a junior at Manhattan College this fall. He is a swimmer on the Division I swim team.

Favorite part about swimming: “The atmosphere — we’re all really close — and the exercise is always really good.”

Toughest aspect: The competition.

When he’s not in the pool: Enjoys working out, including at Newtown Youth Academy when home from school.

What he’s studying: Mechanical engineering.

Food of choice: Buffalo wings.
