Race enthusiasts come across the finish line at the end of the Rooster Run.

Joey Conrod (bib 185) works his way through the Rooster Run course on his way to finishing 11th overall, in a time of 19:38. Sarah Mawdsley (bib 172) was the top female runner, and placed 12th in 20:01.

David Conrad, 50, narrowly edges Danbury 58-year-old Manuel Batista-Leal for eighth place in the Rooster Run 5K, at Fairfield Hills, on June 20. Conrad completed the course in a time of 19:17, and Batista-Leal finished in 19:18. The race drew close to 300 participants. Christopher Gamble was the top overall finisher, coming across the finish line in 16:48.
