Amy Loya

Loya, of Newtown, is a student at Union College in Schenectady, N.Y. where she plays basketball. Loya played at Immaculate High School in Danbury.

Favorite part about playing: “There are so many things. The girls are really supportive and they’re really passionate about the game.”

Toughest aspect: Juggling school work and travel for games.

When she’s not on the court: Participates in school activities including the Best Buddies program, and runs 5K races.
