Kinga Barbara Piascik and Sean Joseph Martins

Raymond and Linda Martins of Sandy Hook announce the engagement of their son, Sean Joseph Martins, to Kinga Barbara Piascik, daughter of Jadwiga Piascik and the late Henrik Piascik of Laski, Poland.

The future bride graduated from the University of Warsaw with a master’s degree in geography and is continuing her education in the Boston area.

The future bridegroom graduated from Newtown High School in 1994, and from the University of Connecticut in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in business management and a minor degree in international studies.  He is an account executive with Lees Carpets in the Boston area.
