If Only They Had Cameras
EASTON â Thomas Savard of Easton is exhibiting his latest body of work, âIf the Old Masters Had Cameras,â at Easton Library until October 17. Mr Savardâs artwork uses an unusual photographic process that he developed, aptly called âphoto-impressionism.â He starts with a basic photograph and subjects a small portion of it to this process, creating the unforgettable images that have become his signature style. The public is invited to meet Mr Savard during an artistâs reception at the library on Sunday, September 16, from noon until 3 pm. Easton Public Library is at 691 Morehouse Road (at the corner of Center Street; telephone 261-0134.
