To the Editor:

I am writing to give an endorsement for Eric Paradis, who is running for a seat on the Board of Education. Eric was my daughter’s soccer coach. He was amazing. He cares deeply about the kids he coaches and for all the students and adults he has worked with throughout his teaching career. Eric is a very caring, compassionate, motivating, inspiring person.

When my daughter found out he wasn’t her coach this year she didn’t want to play. That is how much the kids like and respect him. He is an excellent advocate for children and families. We need a board member like Eric Paradis to use his knowledge and expertise to help make Newtown schools the best they can be. I support Eric Paradis 110 percent for a seat on the BOE.
