The ABCs Of Advance Care Planning
The ABCs Of Advance Care Planning
C.H. Booth Library, at 25 Main Street, will present a Lunch and Learn program, âThe ABCs of Advance Care Planning,â with Dr Daniel G. OâHare and Julia MacMillan APRN, on Tuesday, October 11, from noon to 1:30 pm.
The presentation will cover the theory and potential benefits of having an advance directive, as well as the specifics of the Connecticut statute.
Completing an Advance Directive eases the burden of decision making for family members, and relieves children or other loved ones of that responsibility. It can also help hospitals know what care to provide.
Enjoy a turkey sandwich and learn helpful information. The program is free and all are welcome. Call the library at 203-426-4533 or visit www.CHBoothLibrary.org to register.
