Newtown Savings Donates Arena Suite To Community Groups 

Newtown Savings Bank is donating the use of its corporate suite at the Arena at Harbor Yard to local community groups for select upcoming events. As a strong community supporter, the bank’s NSBCare program is giving back to the area’s community organizations to thank them for the services they provide in support of the community at large.

Newtown Savings Bank’s NSBCare program was established in 2009 to provide additional services to the bank’s NSBCare communities including all towns with a bank branch plus Oxford. Nonprofit service organizations serving at least one of the bank’s NSBCare communities are eligible to submit an entry. There will be several events to choose from based on availability. Some the available events include Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Sacred Heart University Men’s Hockey, Disney on Ice, and Monster Truck Jam.

The winning organizations will receive tickets for up to 14 people and are encouraged to invite staff members, volunteers, group members or partners as a way to show their own appreciation for the dedication within their community.
