I would like to take this opportunity to endorse and recommend my daughter, Maureen Crick Owen, as the Democratic candidate for the Newtown Board of Assessment Appeals. As with everything Maureen does — whether it be for our community or in her personal or professional life — she commits 100 percent of herself to the job and task she is given. I know that she will do the same if elected to the Board of Assessment Appeals. And if elected, I know she will listen objectively to all parties and will do her best to deliver fair and objective decisions based on the guidelines and rules.

Please join me in voting for my daughter, Maureen Crick Owen, for Board of Assessment Appeals on Election Day, November 8.
