Bake Sale To Benefit

The Danbury Animal Welfare Society (DAWS) will hold a bake sale on Saturday, May 7, from 10 am to 2 pm, at Lexington Gardens.

Just in time for Mother’s Day, the sale will offer a variety of cakes, cookies, breads and pies that will not only satisfy Mom’s – and others’ – sweet tooth but help care for homeless animals.

Proceeds from the event will benefit DAWS, one of the largest and oldest, volunteer operated, no-kill animal shelters in the area.
