Dariel M. DeFeo, 88, of Nunnawauk Meadows, Newtown, died October 22, in Danbury Hospital. She was born October 11, 1923, in Terryville, Conn., a daughter of Jesse (DeVeaux)  and Joseph McEnany. 

Ms DeFeo was a longtime resident of Newtown who enjoyed bingo, the Newtown senior trips, and spending time with her family.  She was also an avid reader.

Three daughters, Donna C. Birch,  and husband George, of Newtown, Marie D. Skidmore of Alabama, and Melissa S. Ouellette, and husband Mark, of Southbury; one son, Robert A. DeFeo, and wife Paula, of Norwalk; three brothers, Paul, Donald, and Dale McEnany; three sisters, Joan Musolino, Dorothy Brady, and Dalyx Esposito; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews survive Ms DeFeo. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel DeFeo, and her longtime companion, Irving Sowle.

Funeral services  took place October 27, at Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.
