Principi And Rizzo To Key Positions
Caldwell & Walsh Building Construction, Inc, provider of general contracting and construction management services, announces the promotion of Mark Principi to president and Michael P. Rizzo to chief executive officer (CEO).
Mr Principi now has responsibility for management of the firmâs daily operations and general conditions as well as overseeing the estimating and management of construction projects in Connecticut and New York.
âMark has been a key part of our success, and we were thrilled to promote him to this important position,â said Michael P. Rizzo, who served as president since the companyâs inception in 1983. As CEO, Mr Rizzo will remain active in the firmsâ operations and is the visionary leader for strategic planning for growth.
Mark Principi, 42, received a construction management and industrial technology degree from Central Connecticut State University. He joined the company in 1994 as a project manager and rose to executive vice president in 2002.
He lives in Newtown with his wife Valerie.
Michael Rizzo is the founder of Caldwell & Walsh. He resides in Newtown with his wife Jessica and three children.
The company relocated to Sandy Hook from Ridgefield on July 1, 2002, and employs 60 people, including 20 based in the Sandy Hook office.
