In Buried Child, 22-year-old Vince arrives at the squalid farmhouse of his hard-drinking grandparents for the first time in six years to introduce his girlfriend Shelly to his family â but no one at home seems to even know who Vince is, including Vinceâs father Tilden (a former All-American footballer but now a semi-idiot) or his uncle Bradley, who has lost one his legs to a chainsaw accident. What can possibly hope to deliver this family from the madness that threatens to engulf them all?        Â
Buried Child is under the direction of Pam Meister of Newtown. The cast includes some of the areaâs finest actors: Daryl Guberman of Stratford, Penny Gosain of Easton, Gary Kline of Middlebury, Martin Ripchick of Westport, Chris Luongo of Newtown, Jacqueline Rowland of Woodbury, and Tim Huebenthal of Southbury.
Performances will be November 4-20, with an 8 pm curtain on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2 pm matinees each Sunday. Tickets for all shows are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 10 years old.
Please note that the November 12 show is a sold-out benefit performances.
