About The Letters This Week

One of the many casualties of the pre-Halloween snowstorm last weekend was the connection between The Bee’s e-mail server and the outside world. Typically this week, we would fill pages with letters to the editor, but by Thursday morning when The Bee went to press neither of the two redundant Internet connections we use had been restored. Consequently, many letters endorsing candidates from all the contending parties in the November 8 local election did not make it into print. We apologize to those who have been affected by this particular outage; we share you disappointment.
