Adopt From The Animal Center

The following cats and dogs are available for adoption through The Animal Center: 

PUMPKIN is a friendly, playful and fun 12 week old orange tabby. Pumpkin is neutered and current on vaccines.

NEWTON is an incredibly affectionate, gentle and loving 5 month old kitten. He was “dumped” at a farm in Sandy Hook in mid-November. Fortunately for Newton, he was spotted right away by the property owners and did not have to fend for himself for very long. Newton is so happy to be warm and rescued, and is hoping to find a home to call own this holiday. He is neutered and current on vaccines. 

FRANNIE has a non-stop motor that runs when you pet her. She was born outside to a community cat and brought into the rescue program when she was 7 weeks old. She was confused at first as to why humans were being so nice to her, but she quickly figured out we’re not all that bad. Frannie wants more than anything to find a loving home that will help her blossom into the kitty she was born to be. Frannie is spayed, healthy, and current on vaccines.

PIPER is a super friendly, playful and affectionate brown tabby kitten. She is approximately 10 weeks old, spayed, and current on vaccines.

BRUNO is a very loving, playful 9 week old kitten who adores everyone he meets. He would transition easily to a new home environment. He is neutered and current on vaccines.

GEORGE is a playful, outgoing, and super friendly 9 week old kitten. He is neutered and current on vaccines.

SHADOW is a 6 month old male lab mix. He is very quiet and gentle, and loves to play with other dogs. He is fully vetted.

SAMMY is Shadow’s brother and is also a 6 month old lab mix. He is very playful and well-behaved.  He is fully vetted.

WRIGLEY is a lab mix. He’s 8 weeks, super sweet, mellow, and loves to cuddle. Wrigley is neutered and current on vaccines.

TREVOR is an 8 week old sheltie mix. He’s very friendly and gets along well with everyone he meets. He is neutered and current on vaccines.

CLEO is a 2 year old female great dane greyhound mix. She is fantastic on a leash, loves to play fetch, adores car rides, is fully house trained and knows basic commands. She would do just fine in a home with children and warms up quickly to other dogs. She doesn’t particularly care for cats. She is up to date on vaccines.

BEAR is a 10 week old Pomeranian mix. He is male and current on vaccines.

Good news: Jerry, Kramer, and Autumn have been adopted.

The Animal Center is an all volunteer, non-profit animal welfare charity. Programs include: A foster-based, no-kill rescue and adoption program for homeless and injured cats and kittens; a Feral Cat Assistance Program that provides spay/neuter and vaccination assistance to caregivers of free-roaming, unowned cats in the community;  and a dog rescue  program that  saves adoptable dogs scheduled for euthanasia. The Animal Center is a 501 (c)3 publicly-supported charity and relies heavily on the support of the public and  generous volunteers.
