Arnold Moller, 84, of Stratford, beloved husband of Cynthia (Pott) Moller, died peacefully, with his family by his side, on Christmas Eve, December 24, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Uhrichsville, Ohio, November 4, 1927, he was a son of Nancy (Mason) and Carl Moller.
He is survived by his loving wife, his high school sweetheart, to whom he had been married for 59 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, including Kent Moller, and his wife Maggie, of Newtown two granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. His parents and one brother predeceased Mr Moller.
Mr Moller attended Connecticut State Teachers College in New Britain and Bridgeport Engineering Institute. He served in the US Merchant Marines and US Army of Occupation in Korea.
He was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church, having served as a Sunday School teacher and as a lay Eucharistic minister.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, 2000 Main Street, Stratford, Saturday, January 7, at 11 am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
