Kevin Adams and Emily Johnson

A June 2012 wedding is being planned for Emily Johnson and Kevin Adams. The two became engaged when Kevin asked Emily to marry him while the couple was visiting Quincy Market in Boston.

Emily, who lives now in Trumbull, is the daughter of Robert and Kathleen Johnson of Newtown. She is a 2005 graduate of Newtown High School. She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and communications. She is continuing her studies, working toward a master’s in school counseling, at Fairfield University.

Emily is also a teacher, at Apple Blossom Learning Center.

Kevin, who also lives in Trumbull, is the son of Susan and the late Daniel Adams of Newtown.

He is a 2002 graduate of Newtown High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Western Connecticut State University, having completed those studies in 2007. He is employed as an account executive for Liquid Focus.
