What book do you think would make a good movie?

Alexandra Kulick: My kids and I are reading Dr Seuss’s Oh, The Places You’ll Go. I think with all of the technology we have today, it would be a fun movie.

Mary Weiner: The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. That would be really good.

Robert Onorato: I recently read Let The Great World Spin. It’s very interesting, with a number of characters in New York City. It’s kind of based on Philippe Petit and his high wire walk between the Twin Towers in the 1970s. The way the story wraps between that and 2001 is great, and it would make a good film.

Mark Wilson: I read about the Leatherman at the library, the guy from Connecticut in the 1800s who walked all over the state, dressed in leather clothes he made. That would be an interesting movie. Or Nevada Barr, about a woman park ranger who comes across murders and tries to solve them.

Shaun Piccirillo: I don’t know if other people would think so, but I think a good movie would be made from Controversy Creates Cash by Eric Bischoff. It’s about the wrestling world and a company that in the 1980s went head-to-head with WWE, which used to be WWF.

Rita Dieck: I like Pat Cornwall’s mysteries and so far as I know, none have been made into movies yet. Any of her books would work. She has a woman protagonist and they’re very well written. They would be good movies.
