The Nighthawks will embark on the postseason next week. The South-West Conference championships get started with the diving competition in New Fairfield on March 1 and the swimming events will take place at Masuk High in Monroe on March 2. State chamionship action is in mid March.
âThe teamâs looking to finish the season strong at SWCs next week. So far this season every swimmer has achieved a personal best. Once we rest and shave down I think we have the potential to do great things. The guys have shown a lot of mental and physical toughness this year and weâre going to need every bit of it come championship season,â Gauvin said.
