Collecting Cans And Bottles

To the Editor:

Knock, knock, hi everyone.

Yes it’s me again, Betty Presnell, needing your help this year to collect cans and bottles for Relay For Life. Relay had their kickoff meeting the first of February, therefore I want to also start earlier this year to raise money.

Two years ago we, together, raised $200. Then last year my goal was to go over $200, and you all accomplished that goal, above and beyond, by helping us raise $500. Well, again this year, I would like to at least meet what we did last year; hopefully I can also meet you when you stop to put in your donation.

Cancer doesn’t have a time line, so neither do we to help raise awareness and hopefully find a cure.

Thank you in advance for all your support and help. Until you hear the words “You have cancer,” no one can understand how devastating that news is…so one or 100, we accept all returnables.
