Marilyn Pirhalla

Marilyn Pirhalla, 56, of Newtown, died on May 13 at Bridgeport Hospital. Marilyn was born in Bridgeport and resided in Trumbull for many years before moving to Newtown.

She was a sales representative for Avon.

She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Blanche Woodruff Pirhalla, and her brother, Michael W. Pirhalla.

Survivors include her sisters, Elaine and her husband Elwood Williams of Newtown, and Arlene and her husband Thomas Marshall of Stratford; her devoted companion for 25 years, Tom Pully of Newtown; nine nieces and nephews: Michelle, Wendy, Anne, Elaine, Layton, Brian, B.J., Holly, and Michael; six great-nieces and great-nephews; and her beloved Aunt Genevieve.

Funeral services were held May 15 in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery.

The family extends a special thanks to Dr Chest.
