Local moviegoers can get an even better bargain than what is regularly offered at Edmond Town Hall Theatre if they attend the Friday evening screenings on June 17 and June 24.

The theater is offering a free screening tonight of Zootopia, and next Friday night of Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. The offer is first-come, first-served for both movies. Edmond Town Hall is at 45 Main Street.

The former is being offered courtesy of Dr Baum Orthodontics. The latter is courtesy of Diamond Dental of Newtown.

Zootopia has been at the town hall since June 13, and continues through Sunday, June 19.

In this animated feature from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Ginnifer Goodwin provides the voice for Zootopia's newest police officer, a determined rabbit named Judy Hopps. In an attempt to prove her worth to a very skeptical department, Officer Hopps teams up with a cynical con artist fox (Jason Bateman) to uncover a conspiracy.

The film also features the vocal talents of Idris Elba, J.K. Simmons, Jenny Slate, Bonnie Hunt, Octavia Spencer, Shakira, and Tommy Chung.

Zootopia is rated PG. It has a running time of 1 hour, 48 minutes.

It is being screened nightly at 7 and 9 pm. Remaining matinees are planned for Friday, June 17, and Sunday, June 19, at 1 and 4 pm.

Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice will be at Edmond Town Hall Monday, June 20, through Sunday, June 26.

This film is rated PG-13 and has a running time of 2 hours, 31 minutes.

It is being offered daily at 1, 4:15 and 7:30 pm.

In this latest film featuring two DC Comics superheroes, Batman (Ben Affleck) fears that the actions of Superman (Henry Cavill) are going unchecked. The Caped Crusader takes on the Man of Steel, while the world wrestles with what kind of hero it really needs.

Meanwhile, the evil millionaire Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg) also takes on the Man of Steel once again, in an action/adventure/sci-fi release from Warner Bros.

The film also features Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, and Gal Godot.

Regular tickets for Edmond Town Hall Theatre movies are $2 each.
