Leverage Wins Silver ‘SIA Award’

Leverage Marketing Service of Newtown, a Goodwick/Liazon Company, was recognized among nearly 1,000 entrants to the annual Services Industry Advertising Awards for its “Motivated Messaging” campaign, winning the 2004 Silver SIA Award in the Professional Services category.

The SIA Award is the first advertising award to specifically recognize the creativity and communication accomplishments of the service industry. A national panel of judges evaluated and rated entries in ten groups and 25 categories.

“The results of the first Annual SIA Awards was way above our expectations,” said Jan Michael Lok, executive director of the SIA Awards. “We believe that the winners of this year’s awards will look back with pride.”

Judges for the 2004 Annual SIA Awards included: Chris Russell, president, Clear Channel Outdoor, Atlanta, Ga.; Nicole Morris, program manager, American Marketing Association, Chicago, Ill.; Alicia Holder, associate director, Center for Services Leadership, Arizona State University; and Richard Cohen, editor, Healthcare Marketing Report.

“We are pleased with this win and look forward to sharing our ‘Motivated Messaging’ tactics and strategies with our clients and area corporations as a means for enhancing their training and loyalty programs,” said David Goodwick, CEO and creative director of Leverage. Other national awards recently won by Leverage include the Adrian Advertising Award, the Harvey Communication Measurement Award, the PriMedia Award for Advertising Excellence, and the BMA ProComm Award of Excellence.
