Martina R. Esposito, 53, of Sandy Hook, died March 22, in Danbury Hospital. She was born in Norwalk, March 14, 1959, a daughter of Norma (Morazes) and Ralph J. Johnson. Mrs Esposito was the wife of Frank D. Esposito.

She grew up in Redding and was a graduate of Danbury High School and Southern Connecticut State University. She previously was an office manager in the marketing industry.

A resident of Sandy Hook since 1991, Mrs Esposito volunteered at St Rose of Lima Parish and was a member of the Newtown Woman’s Club.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Frank Esposito, Jr, and Jesse Esposito, both of Watertown, and Jason Esposito of Torrington; a daughter, Melissa Dowd of Bradenton, Fla.; two sisters, Christina Martinez of Outer Banks, N.C., and Sabrina Johnson of Clearwater, Fla.; four grandchildren; and two nieces.

Friends may call in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Saturday, March 31, from 2 to 5 pm, with a memorial service at 4 pm.
