*Tickets for a June 16 CROSBY, STILLS & NASH show at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford will be on sale Friday morning (March 30), priced from $46 to $76, through LiveNation.com.

*Also going on sale Friday morning will be tickets for ERIC CHURCH’s August 17 show at Mohegan Sun Arena. Church will be on the road this summer to support his latest album Chief, leading the Eric Church: Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour with special guest Robert Earl Keen.

Tickets are $39.50 ($53.50 with service fees) and will be available through TicketMaster outlets, online and through Charge-By-Phone beginning at 10 am Friday (800-745-3000), and will also be available at the casino’s box office starting Saturday morning.

*WEEZER will bring all of their chart-topping hits to Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday, May 31, and those tickets are going on sale this Saturday morning, priced at $35. You may want to note that all tickets are general admission including the floor, which will be standing room only.

Go through TicketMaster for these tickets as well.

*The MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods will also be putting new show tickets on sale this weekend.

MELISSA ETHERIDGE will be making in Mashantucket on Sunday, June 10, as part of her 2012 international tour, and tickets go on sale this Friday at 11 am.

Priced at $25, $35 and $45, they will be available through the casino’s website, Foxwoods.com or you can try calling 800-200-2882.

The Gang of Outlaws Tour, which will bring three leaders of their respective genres together for six weeks of performances in May and June, will head out from Manchester, N.H., on May 25 and hit Connecticut just a few nights later. ZZ TOP, 3 DOORS DOWN and GRETCHEN WILSON will be at The MGM Grand on May 27.

Tickets are $70 to $90 and will also be on sale Friday morning, at 9 (note the earlier than usual start time), through the casino’s website.

SARAH McLACHLAN has a new symphony orchestra tour set up for the summer, which will include a stop at The MGM Grand Theater on Saturday, July 7. Tickets are $50 to $75 and will also be on sale morning.

Tickets for all of these shows can be purchased online at www.foxwoods.com, by calling the MGM Grand Box Office at 866-646-0609 or Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000, or in person at the MGM Grand Box Office.

*Multi-Platinum selling, Grammy® nominated recording artist DRAKE will bring his 27-city US amphitheatre run of The Club Paradise Tour to the Comcast Theatre in Hartford on Monday, June 11, and those tickets are also going on sale Friday morning.

They have been set at $35.75 for the lawn ($46.25 with service fees), and anywhere from $35.75 to $95.75 (46.25 to $112.50) for pavilion/reserved seating, and will be available through LiveNation.com.

The show will also feature sets by J. Cole, Wakka Flocka Flame, Meek Mills, 2 Chainz, French Montana.

*The Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford will joined the on-sale fray this weekend, with the following events also being made available:

Tickets for a July 2 NORAH JONES stop, $38 to $58 ($50.50 to $72.50), also on sale Friday at 10, and

Tickets for a June 9 performance of “THE QUEEN EXTRAVAGANZA,” $25 and $35, on sale Saturday at 10 am.

Also, tickets for a YOUNG THE GIANT show on July 17 in The Dome at The Oakdale will be available for $20 (plus $9 service fees) on Friday at 10.

*Foxwoods has quietly put on sale tickets for GLENN FREY on May 20. The six-time Grammy-Award winner and founding member of The Eagles will kick off The After Hours Tour (named for his sixth solo album) in May and will hit The MGM Grand Theater on May 20.

Tickets are $60 to $80.

*I don’t know what happened with the press release for EARTH, WIND & FIRE’s show at Mohegan Sun Arena in a few months, but it didn’t arrive at the office until 11 am last Friday morning… and tickets for the band’s June 14 show went on sale at 10 am … that morning.

So for anyone who hasn’t already heard about this show, tickets are now on sale, through TicketMaster online, Charge-By-Phone (800-745-3000) and in person at any TicketMaster outlet as well as the casino’s box office in Uncasville. All tickets are priced at $51, which turns into $66 by the time you’re finished with service fees.

*Local musicians with performances this week include GOMEZ&SADLON, who will offer their next smooth jazz performance at The Twisted Vine Restaurant in Derby on Friday night.

Gomez&Sadlon will also be the featured artists at The Mattatuck Museum’s All Jazz First Thursday concert on Thursday, April 5. The program runs from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Waterbury museum (144 West Main Street; call 203-753-0381 or visit www.mattatuckmuseum.org/jazzthursdays). Tickets for the Mattatuck event are $15 ($7 for museum members) and can be purchased at the door or reserved in advance, and include two drinks and light snacks.

At the same time, Newtown musician JOE PROC will be in West Haven for a solo acoustic guitar performance at Oyster River Grille. Joe will also be participating in the happy hour open mic program at Two Boots in Bridgeport on Fridays, April 6 and 20. The restaurant is at 281 Fairfield Avenue (telephone 203-331-1377), and the event runs from 5:30 until 8 pm.

Also, TONGUE -N- GROOVE, a local band led by Bryan Coppola that plays “everything from classic rock to current hits, all good to dance to,” says band friend DD Beckwith, will be at The Iron Bridge Restaurant on Saturday night. The restaurant is at 100 Church Hill Road, and showtime is 9:30.
