Bunny Watch 2012 Returning April 6-7
Bunny Watch 2012 Returning April 6â7
The public is invited to join Newtown High School Odyssey of the Mind team members for the second annual Bunny Watch, to be offered on Friday and Saturday, April 6 and 7. The event will run each day from 10 am to 4 pm at Glander Field, Mile Hill Road South.
Antique tractors will be pulling hay wagons on a long leisurely ride around the Fairfield Hills walking trails while families spot and tally bunnies of many shapes and sizes hidden along the way. Team members promise that even more bunnies will be hidden along the 1.5-mile trail this year.
The $5 admission includes hayride, Bunny Watch Tally sheet and a wagon-side greeting with the Easter Bunny. Final rides begin at 3:45.
There will also be a bounce house from SuperFun Inflatables of Sandy Hook, bunny-face painting and ears, and refreshments at additional cost. Come out and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with your children to celebrate spring and Easter.
Old-fashioned lawn games will be set up for family entertainment at no charge to test their skill including beanbag toss, egg rolling through wickets, egg spoon races, and regular organized games of Pig Says, the Odyssey teamâs version of Simon Says with a pink pig leading the fun.
Proceeds from this fundraiser go to benefit Newtown High School Odyssey of the Mind.
