Mr and Mrs Justin Moser

Kristin Schierloh, daughter of Ed and Carey Schierloh, Sandy Hook, and Justin Moser, son of George and Deborah Moser, Newtown, were joined in marriage at The Meeting House, Newtown, on July 4. The Rev Gregory Wismar officiated.

Maid of honor was Linda Siladi, Watertown, with bridesmaids Jessica Wismar, Danbury, Vanessa Gilliam, Mount Holly, N.J., and Beth Hauck, Avon, in attendance.

Corey Robinson, Southbury, served as best man. Ushers were Greg Carnrick, Southbury, Brian Knees, Monroe, and cousin of the groom Douglas Nelson, Southbury.

Kelly Burger of Danbury and Nicole Lovelady of Ocala, Fla., served as readers at the ceremony.

A reception followed at The Foxhill Inn in Brookfield.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Newtown High School and graduated from Cedarville University in 2001. She is a fourth grade teacher at Head O’ Meadow School in Newtown.

The groom graduated from Newtown High School in 1998 and is employed as a firefighter for the Town of Westport.

Following a cruise to the eastern Caribbean, the couple makes their home in Southbury.
