Sandy Hook Intersection

A two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Berkshire Road and Toddy Hill Road about 4:45 pm on June 23, police report.

That collision on Berkshire Road involved motorist Rachael Hyland, 17, of 14 Briarwood Lane, who was driving a 2004 Audi A-4 sedan, and motorist Lori Grasso, 50, of 47 Osborn Hill Road, who was driving a 2011 Cadillac CTS sedan, according to police.

There were no injuries. Police said that they issued Hyland an infraction for following too closely and for  driving a unregistered vehicle.

 

Swamp Road

Police report that at about 8:09 am on June 22, they stopped motorist J. Loja, 30, of Danbury near 21 Swamp Road in Botsford to investigate; he was charged with traveling too fast and with driving under suspension.

Police released Loja on $250 bail for a July 10 court appearance.

 

Hanover Road

Police said that at about 2:11 pm on June 24, they spotted motorist Yussuf A. Yussuf, 25, of Brookfield driving 42 miles per hour in a posted 25-mph zone at The Boulevard; he was stopped near 80 Hanover Road to investigate.

Police charged Yussuf with traveling too fast and with driving with a suspended license; he was released on a written promise to appear in court on July 6.
