Mr And Mrs Michael A. Czaplicke

Melissa Anne Hammond and Michael Andrew Czaplicke were joined in marriage on June 29 at Holy Cross Church, Colchester, Vt., with Father Roger Charbonneau officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Gerald and Christine Hammond of Colchester, Vt.

The groom is the son of Michael and Sandina Czaplicke of Newtown.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a floor length white A-line dress with embroidered pearls and carried a cascading bouquet of white roses and lily of the valley.

The maid of honor was Lana Beane of Colchester, Vt.

Attending as bridesmaids were Megan Czaplicke, Amanda Hammond, Jessica Hammond, Julie Hulburd, and Emily Wargo.

The best man was Patrick Czaplicke.

Ushers were Michael Carrano, David Fuller, Ryan McGowan, Chad Merchant, and Michael Palagonia.

Jacqueline Wright and Zachary Wright of Phoenix, Ariz., were the flower girl and ring bearer.

The bride graduated from Castleton State College and the University of Vermont. She is a science teacher at Bakersfield Elementary School in Bakersfield, Vt.

The bridegroom graduated from Castleton State College. He is an accountant at Bombardier Capital in Colchester, Vt.

The reception was held at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel in South Burlington, Vt.

Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, Mr and Mrs Czaplicke are living in Colchester, Vt.
