Needle Felting Workshop At Flanders
Needle Felting Workshop At Flanders
WOODBURY â The public is invited to learn how to make a 3-D sculpture out of wool at a needle felting workshop designed for adults at Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust.
Needle felting is an easy craft, in which a barbed needle is used to sculpt wool into anything imaginable. Sessions will be taught by local artist Rachel Gerowe at The Studio at Van Vleck Farm and Nature Center, at the corner of Flanders and Church Hill Roads.
Participants will make a small cat sculpture on Friday, August 19, also 6:30 to 9:00 pm.
Cost is $35, which includes enough materials to make one sculpture in class and another at home. Participants can save $5 if they bring their own needles and foam.
To register, call Flanders at 203-263-3711 extension 12 or send an email to flanders@FlandersNatureCenter.org.
