Frank W. Jeffe, 60, of Jupiter, Fla., and formerly of Newtown, died July 29, at the Jupiter Medical Center. Born in Steubenville, Ohio, he had been a resident of Jupiter for nine years.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Jeffe of Jupiter; one son, Dean F. Jeffe and one daughter, Kristin B. Jeffe, both of Chicago; his mother, Helen Jeffe of Weirton, W.V.; two siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr Jeffe was a vice president of Hilco Appraisal Services, LLC in Northbrook, Ill., and a member of numerous chemical trade associations. Prior to retirement, he was a global business manager for Union Carbide Corporation, where he worked for 28 years.
He was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed scuba diving, skiing, mountaineering, and running. Mr Jeffe was a member of St Peter Catholic Church, a member of the BPOE of Weirton, W.Va., an Eagle Scout, and an active alumnus of West Virginia University.
Funeral services were at St Louise de Marillac Catholic Church in Upper St Clair, Penn., with burial in Queen of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum in McMurray, Penn. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St Peter Catholic Church in Jupiter.
