Letters Of Endorsement

To the Editor:

Recently the Republican Town Committee held its caucus and for several reasons, chose to endorse a new candidate for Republican registrar of voters, Carey Schierloh. I agree with the Republican Committee’s choice for registrar. Carey Schierloh is a neighbor of mine and extremely detailed oriented, intelligent, hardworking, and a team player. Not only has she served as a member of the Charter Revision Commission, but she was also one of our beloved O-Os where she was able to utilize her wonderful coordination skills. Carey will bring to the registrar’s office a positive new outlook, providing the people of Newtown professionalism on all levels while helping to organize and oversee town elections. Carey is not a stranger to elections and with her wealth of knowledge, will transition very easily into the role of registrar. As a Republican, I have no doubt that Carey will be more than ready for the coming elections. Please join me in voting for the right choice for Republican registrar of voters, Carey Schierloh on August 14.
