Stanley J. âKirkâ Krakowsky, Jr, 72, of Milford, died on Wednesday, July 17, at the Lord Chamberlain Nursing Facility, Stratford.
He is survived by two daughters, Carol Bradshaw of Sandy Hook, and Judy Vaino of Derby; a sister, Anne Seanor of Milford, and several nieces and nephews, including Jodi Stapleton of Milford; a great-niece, Sara, of Milford, and by his beloved, Bonnie Humrich.
Son of the late Stanley J. and Mary Elizabeth Sullivan Krakowsky, he was born on January 31, 1930, in Milford, and was a lifelong resident of Milford.
Mr Krakowsky was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War. He worked in the maintenance department at Sikorsky Aircraft until retiring in 1995. Mr Krakowsky was a member of the Valley Yacht Club, in the Devon section of Milford.
A service will take place on Friday, July 19, at 7 pm in the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford. Committal will be private.
Friends may call prior to the service on Friday from 4:30 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Recreation Department at the Lord Chamberlain Nursing Facility, 7003 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614.
