Botsford Fire and Rescue’s Annual Fundraiser/Summer Bash is planned for Saturday, August 22.

Beginning at 4 pm, members of the volunteer company will serve up hot dogs, hamburgers, ribs and corn on the cob, with live music by Nashville Drive beginning at 6. Beer, wine, soda and water will also be available to purchase.

Nashville Drive is a modern country band performing originals and covering today’s country favorites. They have opened for national recording artists such as Colt Ford, Craig Campbell, and others. A high-energy band that is always a crowd favorite, they have performed throughout New England and Nashville.

Entrance fee is $10, with ages 12 and under free of charge. Proceeds will help support the 40-member, all volunteer firehouse.

The event will run until 10 pm at Botsford Fire and Rescue’s firehouse, 315 South Main Street in Newtown.
