Connecticut’s Best Crop Of Stones: Right In Your Garden

On Wednesday, September 12, Newtown resident Brid Craddock — a well-regarded landscape designer, master gardener, and co-owner of Heirloom Gardens — will be speaking at the first meeting of the season for Town and Country Garden Club of Newtown. Ms Craddock’s program will begin at 7 pm.

The group will meets at Newtown Senior Center, 14 Riverside Road. The program is open to the public, free of charge.

Ms Craddock will be doing a slide show featuring walls, rock gardens, and patios to demonstrate construction techniques and designs. She will stress how important it is to match design to the landscape and how to get what one wants from ideas in terms of quality masonry.
