NHS Yearbooks On Sale Now

Newtown High School has announced 2012-13 yearbooks along with personal ads and business ads to run in the publication are available for purchase now, and two dates are scheduled for a Family Portrait Fundraiser that will help support the NHS Yearbook.

Yearbooks are available to order at www.jostensyearbooks.com and will be given out to students at the end of the school year. For more information about personal ads and business ads to be published in the yearbook, e-mail yearbook@newtown.k12.ct.us.

Regarding the Family Portrait Fundraiser, “This is a great opportunity for the town to participate in a great fundraiser and a family activity,” said NHS computer technology teacher Kristin Violette this week.

The fundraiser has two dates scheduled, October 7 and October 27, and attendees who register in advance will have their photos taken by photographer Cynthia McIntyre.

Each photography session is $50, and all of the proceeds will be donated to the NHS Yearbook.

The photos will be taken outside and the portrait session will include eventgoers getting a DVD video of their favorite images set to music.
