Notable Economic Growth Initiatives To Be Recognized At CERC Event
ROCKY HILL â The Connecticut Economic Resource Center, Inc (CERC), a nonprofit company that provides resources to support making Connecticut a competitive business environment, is honoring the top economic development projects from regions around the state at its annual event Celebrate CT! on the evening of Wednesday, November 28, at The Bushnell in Hartford.
More than 150 economic development and business professionals from around the state are expected to attend Celebrate CT! to recognize top companies, projects, programs, organizations, and individuals for their contribution to the stateâs economy â such as consistent or growing employment levels, role in changing the character of its community or civic engagement, strong public/private collaboration to encourage new investment, or leadership resulting in regional growth or improvements.
âThese awards pay tribute to the hardworking people and successful programs and projects of 2012,â said CERC President and CEO Robert Santy. âWe at CERC are proud to partner with the regions to celebrate these admirable honorees, and we look forward to what 2013 will bring us.â
