All town offices will be closed on Monday, January 21, in honor of Dr Martin Luther King, Jr, Day.

All schools, Newtown Senior Center, C.H. Booth Library, and the transfer station will also be closed in observance of the national holiday. Post offices will be closed, and there will be no mail delivery.

The office of The Newtown Bee will be open.
