David & Meghan Hogan

Meghan Elizabeth Rajczewski and David Patrick Hogan, a first lieutenant in the Army National Guard, were married by the Monsignor Robert Weiss on Saturday, June 16, at St Rose of Lima Church in Newtown.

The bride, a daughter of Eileen and Stan Racjzewski of Newtown, was given into marriage by her father. Meghan wore a Maggie Sottero ball gown and carried a bouquet of ivory-colored roses for her wedding day.

Matron of honor was Ariana Lipman of New York City; bridesmaids were Amy Meyerson of Weston, Jillian Robles of New Milford, Bethany Martin of Danbury, and Emily Hogan of Aurora, Colo. The attendants all wore matching long pastel blue Alfred Angelo dresses, and carried bouquets of blue hydrangea and ivory roses.

David’s best man was Christian Morey of East Greenwich, N.Y. Ryan Hogan and Daniel Hogan, both of Aurora, Colo., and Kieran Shippee of East Hartford were ushers; Brandon Meyerson and Garrett Meyerson, both of Weston, were greeters.

Ashley Meyerson of Weston was the flower girl. Ring bearer was Milo Lipman of New York City.

A reception followed at The Ethan Allen Hotel in Danbury.

David’s parents are Nora Hogan of Cape May, N.J., and Daniel Hogan of Aurora, Colo.

The groom is a graduate of Danbury High School and Sacred Heart University. He is a project manager for Verdi Construction.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School, University of Connecticut at Storrs, and Western Connecticut State University, where she earned a master’s in business administration. She is public relations and marketing manager for Sequel International.

The Hogans celebrated their marriage with a honeymoon in Antigua. They live in Bethel.
