Sally Ann Martone, 71, of Southbury, died May 20, at Waterbury Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on March 19, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Fortuna Martone.

Her loving sister, Marion Timko of Newtown; as well as her nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and friends survive her.

Her brother-in-law, Richard Timko, predeceased her.

While residing in Southbury, she spent many years working there and in Waterbury. Ms Martone enjoyed music, dancing, and food. She loved spending time with family at holidays and family gatherings, but cherished the time spent with her mom and sister going to Friendly's for ice cream sundaes. She was known as a loving sister and aunt who will be missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Southbury Training School for all the excellent care they gave to Ms Martone, especially those at Cottage 33.

Friends may greet the family Thursday, May 24, from 9:30 to 10:30 am, at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.

Funeral services will follow at 10:30 am in the funeral home and at 11 am in St Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be after in St Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
