Devoted Mother And Grandmother

Corinne “Cookie” Riordan, 77, of Bethel, died January 26, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Denis J. Riordan. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., January 21, 1934, daughter of Elizabeth (Whalen) and Dennis Sullivan.

She will be greatly missed by her seven children, including Michael J. Riordan of Sandy Hook; a sister, Joan Timoney; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

 Mrs Riordan was a resident of Bethel for 41 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was affectionately known as “Nana.” She spent her time traveling with her family, going to the casino, and enjoyed her crossword puzzles.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated January 31. Burial followed in St Mary’s Cemetery, Bethel. Online condolences can be made at HullFuneralService.com.
