Boys U12

Beasts 2, Wilton Blue 0 – Stefan Dullinger and Matt Mossbarger scored and Jonah Muniz added an assist to lead the Newtown offense. Wesley Morlock, Connor Gallagher and Matt Baldino were strong on defense. Owen Gaston and Austin Raftery were excellent in goal.

Beasts 4, Ridgefield Orange 1 – Matt Mossbarger scored two goals while Andrew Martinez and Matt Rosa added a goal apiece in the win. Jonathan Schwartz, Otto Kerler, Michael Teixeira and Jordan Sock had strong games on offense. Sam Boland anchored the D.

Beasts 5, Ridgefield Black 1 – Stefan Dullinger scored three goals as Newtown rolled past Ridgefield Black. Matt Mossbarger and Matt Rosa added a goal apiece while Grant Ricketts and Robert Linden each added an assist. Doug Miiller, Adam Hufziger Jacob Moore and Jonathan Schwartz had strong games.

Beasts 1, Darien Blue 0 – Matt Mossbarger scored off an assist from Jonah Muniz to lift the Beasts to Ridgefield Warm-Up Tournament championship over the Labor Day weekend. Grant Ricketts and Doug Miller were strong in the midfield as Wesley Morlock, Connor Gallagher and Matt Baldino were solid on defense. Owen Gaston and Austin Raftery were outstanding in goal.

Boys U11

Brookfield 2, White Lightning 0 – Kevin Droniak and Graham Hubbert were outstanding on defense, shutting down numerous Brookfield advances, in the opener of the Ridgefield Warm-Up Tournament over the Labor Day weekend. Ryan King and Michael Cook controlled the midfield.

Wilton Blue 3, White Lightning 1 – Kaj Djonne scored the lone Newtown goal off an assist from Knute Johnson. Kevin Ovendorf was outstanding in goal with over nine saves.

New Milford United 3, White Lightning 0 – Nathyn Horvath and Constant Gregoire were passing well on offense with many shots on goal. Luca Imbimbo dominated in the midfield as Anthony Vournazos and Patrick Howley were very impressive in their first travel tournament.

White Lightning 1, Darien White 0 – Dillon Wikramanyake scored the lone goal off an assist from Clay Gattey to lift the White Lightning to the win. The offense was led by Sawyer conrad and Jeremy Doski, who made many steals and set up many offensive plays. Michael Biancardi controlled the midfield with many takeaways for the Lightning, who dominated at the U10 level this past spring.
