A Note Of Thanks…

Each year’s bridal supplement is the result of work by a number of people. It would be impossible for me to put this supplement together without their help.

First and foremost, Melanie Mattegat once again came through with plenty of ideas and photographs for Brides 2005. It was Melanie’s idea last year to use photographs of girls during their weddings, wearing the gowns they had purchased from Julie Allen Bridals & Tuxedos, to help illustrate the pages of Brides 2004. The idea worked very well last year, and I’m happy to admit we’ve repeated that process again this year.

So large thanks and credit go to Melanie for her help in contacting the brides who have loaned me their photos.

Thank you also to those brides — Karen (Casablanca) Bonitatibus, Tina (Piccorillo) Cappoziello, Julie (Cantatore) Francis, Katie Lyons, and Nicole (Ragozzine) Wilder. Thank you for trusting me with your memories and beautiful photographs. All of you looked absolutely stunning on your wedding day.

I also owe a special thanks to the photographer Edmund Rogers, who worked with Katie Lyons to adjust and deliver some of his own photos for this year’s bridal supplement.

I must also thank Carol Fenn, the member of The Bee’s production department who once again handled the layout of Brides 2005.
