Relocates Office To Newtown
News Broadcast Network (NBN), a leading broadcasting services firm, has moved its sales and marketing office to a historic building on Main Street in Newtown.
The office, previously located in Ridgefield, moved to Newtown last month. It provides support to the companyâs five sales offices located in New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
âWeâre pleased to join the Newtown business community,â said Jeff Wurtz, NBN senior vice president of sales and marketing. âOur new neighbors have been very welcoming, and weâre looking forward to being a part of the fabric of the community.â
Both Mr Wurtz and NBN Marketing Manager Dawn Handschuh are longtime Newtown residents.
NBN is housed in a historic brick building located on Newtownâs Main Street, across from C.H. Booth Library. The structure was built in 1855 to house the town clerkâs offices. More recently, it served as an antiques reference library established by The Bee Publishing Company until the private library closed its doors and Bee publisher R. Scudder Smith donated its books to the public Booth Library across the street.
Headquartered in New York City, NBN provides broadcast media distribution services for the public relations and marketing industries. NBN services include production and distribution of video and radio news releases, radio and satellite media tours, production and distribution of public service announcements for radio and television, commercials, corporate videos, and Internet broadcasts.
The company, founded in 1968, partners with corporate, nonprofit, and federal government clients to ensure their message achieves maximum air play on television and radio news stations.
Its clients have included the United States Department of Homeland Security, the United States Mint, United States Postal Service, Fidelity Investments, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Boeing, the American Heart Association, Conde Nast Traveler, Microsoft, Visa USA, Georgia Pacific, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, and the National Science Foundation, among others.
In addition to its Newtown location, the company maintains offices and production facilities in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Milwaukee.
