Sharron Anne LaCava

Sharron Anne LaCava, 61, 93-3 West Wooster Street, Danbury, died November 15 at Danbury Hospital.

She was the sister of Joseph F. LaCava, Jr of Newtown.

Born in Danbury March 26, 1938, she was a daughter of Josephine M. (Greer) LaCava Decker of Danbury and the late Joseph F. LaCava, Sr.

Miss LaCava graduated from St Peter’s Grammar School and Danbury High School. In 1974 she received her BS Degree and Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education from Western Connecticut State University. She student taught at Hawley School in Newtown.

Miss LaCava was a dental hygienist for Dr Levy of Danbury for many years. Following that she was employed by the Savings Bank of Danbury and Center Bank in Bethel. For a brief period of time she pursued her teaching career in Australia before returning to Danbury.

In addition to her mother and brother, Miss LaCava is survived by a sister, Lorraine Furino of Danbury; nieces and nephews, Dianne, Robert, Robin, Jane, Joseph and Shalor; and her best friend, Karen Doutney of Danbury.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St Peter Church November 18. Burial followed in St Peter Cemetery.
