Alfred Fredrick Pierce died November 22 in Greenwich. He was predeceased by his first wife, Jane (Wallace) Pierce, in 1976.
He is survived by a daughter, Sheila and her husband, Devery Stickles, of Newtown.
He was born in London on March 29, 1916. He served in the RAF in England during World War II. He was a cabinetmaker in England and the United States. He came to America in 1953, and was a Stratford resident for 25 years before moving to Greenwich.
He is survived by his wife, Helen (Gano) Pierce of Greenwich; two sons, Alan Pierce and his wife, Regina, of Milford, and David Pierce of Florida; seven grandchildren, Alan Pierce of Seymour, Jennifer Pierce of Wallingford, Jillian Pierce of Stratford, Brian and Kate Stickles of Newtown, and Rachel Pierce and Toni Frizinia of the Huntington section of Shelton.
Services were private.
Arrangements were made by Castiglione Funeral Home, Greenwich.
