Mr and Mrs Fred Dotson

Jennifer Morin and Fred Dotson were married on November 6 by the Rev Norman Brockett at the Church of the Epiphany in Cheshire.

 A reception followed at The Rustic Colonial Tavern in Oxford.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs Susan Polnow of Cheshire and the late Kenneth Morin of Cheshire, and the granddaughter of Herve and Connie Morin of Cheshire and Nancy Brinton and the late Malcolm Brinton of Cheshire.

The bridegroom is the son of Fred and Blithe Dotson of Newtown and the grandson of John J. Dotson, Sr, of Wilton and Marilyn Ball of Newtown and Toni Cunningham and the late Francis J. Cunningham of Westport.

The bride’s sister, Sarah Morin, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Morin, Carrie Polnow, and Kristine Jones.

The bridegroom’s brother, John Dotson, was the best man. Ushers were Steve George, Joe Lato, and Lou Morin.

Flower girl was Jessica Morin.

Mrs Dotson graduated from Cheshire High School and from Naugatuck Valley Community College with a degree in liberal arts. She is pursuing a degree in nursing at Naugatuck Valley Community College.

Mr Dotson graduated from Newtown High School and from Naugatuck Valley Community College with a degree in criminal justice. He is an account executive for Cultec Inc in Brookfield.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, they are living in Newtown.
